Litter Aware believes we litter for a lot of reasons. Chief among them is that the consequences aren't in our faces such as the effects on wildlife. After seeing the contents of that dead bird, can you ever look at a bottle cap or a cigarette lighter on the ground the same way anymore, knowing that birds mistake them for food?
